There is a lighter side to our chauffeur business, and one which we are happy to share with everyone.
One showery Sunday morning in Burford, Oxfordshire, one of our drivers was waiting outside the church for the wedding ceremony to conclude. Another athlete had won a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games in India, and the national anthem was being played over the radio. Before the bridesmaids returned to the car, the driver started to finger tap the beat of the national anthem on the steering wheel. This was the catalyst to the idea of recording the entire national anthem in a chauffeur style, purely from opening and closing the doors and boot of the Mercedes.
It won’t get us a recording contract with a record label, but we sincerely hope you enjoy our production, and get to see our lighter side.
